About

Camp Or L’Dor is a spiritually transforming, Yeshua-centered encounter for Jewish teens. We empower young Messianic Jews to be passionate about Yeshua and Jewish living, and build lasting bonds of friendship within the wider Messianic Jewish community.

Every summer, our teens, counselors and staff fly from far and wide to gather for a transforming experience at Camp Or L’Dor.

Our teens start the day with a lively morning Shacharit service and a thought-provoking workshop. During the afternoon, we have gaga tournaments, enjoy team-building activities, and cool down in the water. Evenings are often spent singing and dancing around a bonfire, and competing in drama workshops, or presenting at our annual talent show.  To top it off, our campers experience a 3-day backcountry adventure (backpacking or canoeing) to encounter community and God in new and profound ways.

Our Story

In 2009, some folks in Massachusetts and Connecticut put together an adventure outing for their youth groups. Without the proper gear or preparation, they hiked Mount Washington — the highest peak of the northeast.

In 2010, Camp Or L’Dor was officially formed. The camp was, and continues to be committed to three attributes:

  • Authentic Jewish experience with Yeshua.

  • Community within the Jewish world.

  • Safely dangerous outdoor adventure. (Don’t worry, we now have trained leaders and are fully equipped with everything we need for a safe backcountry experience!)

We’ve laughed and loved and cried and transformed. Over the years, we’ve added on Israel Day, illustrated siddurs, a healing prayer service, and more. In addition to summer camp programming, we are building a kids camp, alumni network, and around-the-year support.

Our youth are our future. We’re committed to providing the community and mentorship they need, while creating those summer memories full of fun and sun!

Camp is a time where we learn where to stand in G-d’s Presence. I was able to encounter Him in ways I cannot describe. He knows what I need.

I can trust G-d so much more now than at the beginning of camp. I know now that G-d is here with me.
